Her er så pladen, ingen havde forventet at se. Mange havde håbet på det, men efter så mange år, var der ikke mange, der reelt troede på det længere. MEn den var i den grad "længe ventet". Det kunne ses på hitlisterne.
Længere oppe på siden, er en stribe lande kopieret fra den officielle Pink Floyd
Facebook side. Det er de lande pladen nåede en førsteplads på salgslisterne.20 lande I alt
og så er der de lande, hvor de "kun" nåede 2. 3. eller fjerde plads.
USA kom de kun på en 3. plads. Det forstår jeg ikke, for det er jo Guds eget land, og Gilmour er da Gud?
Men det stopper ikke her. The Endless
River tager også førstepladsen, som den mest forudbestilte album på Amazon i England

Pladen bygger først og fremmest på rester fra produktionen af The Division Bell. Derfor er Wright med som sangskriver på de fleste af numrene.
Hvis du sidder og vrider hjernen med "hvor er det jeg har hørt det der "The Endless River" fra før?"
Det er den sidste linje i High Hopes.
Det bliver sagt meget tydeligt i dette lille klip, hvor Gilmour og Mason kort beskriver konceptet bag The Endless River
At der er arbejdet videre med materialet fra 1994, fortælle en af korpigerne Durga McBroom-Hudson, som alle ægte Pink Floyd fans kender ret godt efterhånden. Her ses hun under arbejdet. Hun praler af at være med på hele fire Pink Floyd albums, og det må man give hende ret i, at det er en stor bedrift værd at prale med. Vi taler om Endless River, Pulse, Division Bell og Delicate Sound of Thunder. Hun var med på forreste linje, da "Pink Floyd" optrådte på Anabells i 1988
“Anisina” er et tyrkisk ord og betyder "til minde om". Bliver af flere betragtet som den egentlige hyldest til Rick. Der er ikke optagelser af hans keyborad med på dette nummer.
